AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – One person is dead after an early morning fatal accident, Wednesday.
Richmond County Coroner Mark Bowen tells us the driver was traveling west on I-20 near River Watch Parkway when they lost control of their vehicle at a high rate of speed.
The vehicle then hit the center guardrail and overturned several times.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident at 3:10 a.m.
Their identity has not yet been released.
