Former prisoner turned author and mentor sharing his book for youth empowerment

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – One local author helping to make positive change in the lives of men, both young and old – as well as children in the community.

“Continue to be a beacon of light and hope or children and adults, alike, whose had my story and who’s now trying to give back,” Author of “All You Can Be” Aaron Kinzer said.

A second chance to help those – young and old – make a great first choice.

That victory has been Aaron Kinzer’s goal after spending some time in federal prison on drug charges Now having the chance to freely spread his wisdom and knowledge.

“I was living that negative lifestyle at one point in time, back in my younger days, and I saw where it can get me; and I saw where it can get them also. So now, this book is important because it is an opportunity for children to be molded… the book can help children internalize their own motivations and seeing themselves in a positive light…”

Kinzer’s main goal with “All You Can Be” is to steer children away from the path he first chose. He says it shows kids they can be anything, even if crime is all they’ve witnessed.
