AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – Dangerous heat and humidity will only worsen as we head through the weekend. A cold front will push through the region Sunday bringing the chance for more widespread storms in the late afternoon and evening. A low severe weather risk is possible with any storms that form the rest of the weekend, but any severe weather is expected to be very isolated in nature.
