EDGEFIELD, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) – The Edgefield County Animal Care and Control Facility has been open for a little over a year, and we’re told it’s been busy. Prior to opening, Edgefield County partnered with Aiken County shelters to take in animals. Eventually, they were able to build their own facility.
