HEPHZIBAH, Ga. (WJBF) – On Sunday, September 22nd, at 2:26am, the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 4300 block of Forest Road in reference to shots fired and one person being shot.
Upon arrival, deputies observed a male victim had been shot at least one time and had succumbed to his injuries.
The Richmond County Coroner’s Office has identified the victim as 43-year-old Mikah Smith.
An autopsy has been scheduled.
This investigation is ongoing, with no further information available at this time.
