AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT)-Surface high pressure to our north is providing a cool northeasterly breeze at the surface, while southerly winds aloft are pushing warm and moist air up and over that layer of cool air – resulting in a drizzly and cool Sunday around Georgia and South Carolina. This “wedge” pattern will persist through about midday Monday, when a cool front will pass through bringing dry weather for much of the week ahead.
