It’s beginning to look less like Christmas

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – Christmas decorations: putting them up is reason to be jolly.

“Oh, I always enjoy it. I love having the lights looking around and seeing them around the neighborhood. Anytime, we can do that. We love it,” said Brandon Jaremski.

But it’s no longer Noel. It’s the new year, but we see decorations still up.

“It was short between Thanksgiving and Christmas this year. It’s a good opportunity to leave them up another week,” said Brandon.

Decorators have different timelines on the take downs.

“I’m coming down tomorrow,” said Diana Sarver.

“Why tomorrow?”

“It’s before the next week starts,” she said.

But others have already hauled the old tannenbaum to the Christmas tree drop off site… the decorations are done.

“They’re already down and put up,” said David Hyatt.

“You’ve put them up already?”

“ Uh-Hum  day after,” he said.

“They’re still up – still up for sure. It’s a lot of work to put them up so might as well keep them up for a while,” said Ted Grozil.

So when should the decorations come down?
