AUGUSTA, GA- In a game that featured 32 runs and 28 hits, Lander outlasted Augusta on Saturday, winning game two of the series 18-14. The Jaguars are now 2-6 in Peach Belt Conference play and 5-18 overall, while the Bearcats improve to 4-1 in conference and 15-6 overall.
Nolan Turner led the AU offense with three hits, including a grand slam in the sixth inning that gave the Jaguars a 13-9 lead. Unfortunately, Augusta could not hold off the Bearcats, who scored five runs in the seventh inning and four more in the eighth to secure the win.
