Thomson man sentenced to life, +5 years in 2020 killing of Ahmad Popal

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – Terrence Wayne Cumber, 29, was convicted by a Richmond County jury on Friday in the June 2020 killing of Ahmad Popal in downtown Augusta , District Attorney Jared Williams announced.

Cumber was sentenced Life in Prison plus five years.
