Three local students advance to state level of National Civics Bee Competition

COLUMBIA COUNTY, Ga. (WJBF) – Three local students are advancing to the state level of the National Civics Bee Competition .

The inaugural competition was held on April 24th at Grovetown High School.

According to the Columbia County Chamber, twenty middle school students from across the region competed in the event, which tested their civics knowledge and essay writing skills.
