AIKEN, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) – The Aiken Department of Public Safety responded to a knife wound on the 200 block of Sumter Street Monday afternoon, according to officials.
Officers found a male with lacerations to his body, according to officials.
Whether they were directly or indirectly impacted by Deputy Sikes’ death, community members lifted up their local law enforcement officers, and most importantly, each other during a difficult day.
