Man arrested in crash that killed 50-year-old after Hurricane Helene

WAYNESBORO, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – A man has been arrested in relation to a fatal crash that occurred during the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, according to Georgia State Patrol.

The victim is listed in the incident report as Jalina Quick Curtis, 50, of Sardis.

Her family has questions about Georgia’s heartbeat law and why they didn’t have a say in her care.
