WASHINGTON, Ga. (WJBF) – The Wilkes County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that occurred this week.
On Monday, May 12, deputies responded to WD Package Store on Whitehall Street and located a male with at least one gunshot wound. Police said upon investigation, they discovered the shooting had taken place at a residence on Peter Street.
