Augusta-area kids collect change to help moms, babies in Africa

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – Students at Big Blue Marble Academy locations in the Augusta area recently collected change to help moms and newborns in Africa.

The money collected in the “Change for a Change” project will provide pre- and postnatal care for more than seven mothers and their babies at Rotifunk Hospital in Sierra Leone.

In total, the young learners at Big Blue Marble in Augusta, Evans, Grovetown and Martinez raised $725.52.
