AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – Clouds and the possibility of thunderstorms should be enough to keep temperatures several degrees cooler than the high of 94 we hit in Augusta on Friday, but warmer than average temperatures will continue through midweek.

We are tracking a line of storms that will move through the CSRA between 11a and 2p Saturday. The line will be weakening as it approaches the region, but the Storm Prediction Center has included the entire CSRA in its Marginal (Level 1) risk for severe thunderstorms capable of 58+ mph winds and quarter sized hail, so make sure you are extra weather aware if you have outdoor plans late morning through mid-afternoon>

Skies will clear Saturday night with slightly lower humidity levels, so the weather looks great for Thunder Over Evans in Evans Saturday night. Lows will drop into the middle 60s by sunrise Sunday at 6:26 a.m. Winds will be from the west at 2 to 6 mph…
