AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – As part of Augusta University’s recent athletic facility renovations, the softball field is on deck to be the next venue to get a makeover.
For years, fans have either sat in the grassy area next to Jaguar Field, or in small bleachers behind homeplate.
Starting next season, the venue will have 225 chairback seats behind the backstop, as well as an official press box built in between…
