Aiken County Sheriff’s Office K9s to get donation of body armor

AIKEN COUNTY, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) – Two Aiken County Sheriff’s Office K9s are getting body armour thanks to a donation from non-profit organization Vested Interest in K9s, Inc.

Both K9s will receive bullet and stab protective vests, which will be embroidered with the sentiment, “This gift of protection provided by Vested Interest in K9s, Inc.”

Delivery is expected within ten weeks, according to the sheriff’s office…
