AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – A new special operations team at the Richmond County Sheriff’s Department will help people experiencing homelessness in the community.
“Our folks are the first ones that have interaction with the folks that are living on the street, and first thing we want to do is find out what their issues are,” said Major Robbie Silas, Special Operations, Richmond County Sheriff’s Department.
