Aiken man shot at after allegedly not making eye contact with stranger

AIKEN, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) – A man was shot at after allegedly failing to make eye contact with a stranger in an Aiken gas station, according to the Aiken Department of Public Safety.

Rakeem Culbreath, 35, of Trenton, was arrested on Wednesday, according to jail bookings.

Around 9:45 p.m. on Jan. 28, officers say they responded to the 100 block of York Street NE, Sunoco gas station for a shooting.

On scene, officers say they immediately found several shell casings in the front parking lot. The victim was still on the phone with dispatch and told officers he had fled to his home after the incident…
