A grand jury has ruled that the suspect in a fatal shooting in Burke County will not be charged. District Attorney Jared Williams told News 12 on Friday that Hannah G. Cobb, who was arrested on February 25 on a charge of felony involuntary manslaughter in connection with the shooting death of her 30-year-old boyfriend, Telvin Osborne, had a grand jury return a “no bill.”
A grand jury was presented with the case on April 24; however, the grand jury chose not to file formal charges. Although Williams is likely to adopt the grand jury’s recommendation, this does not necessarily preclude the filing of formal charges in the future.
