In a big win for air travel, U.S. Senators announced $13 million for Georgia’s airports. Augusta Regional Airport received $987,701.
The money comes from a nationwide effort to upgrade air facilities. Within the Central Savannah River Area (CSRA), airports will get essential repairs and new improvements to expand travel options.
