BURKE COUNTY, Ga. (WJBF) – Burke County Animal Services is alerting residents that a fox in the county tested positive for rabies this week.
According to Animal Services, officials were contacted about a fox attempting to attack citizens in the area of Middle Ground Road and Porter Carswell Road on May 28. The fox was removed from the area the same day.
