AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – A FIRST ALERT is in effect Monday for the chance of scattered severe thunderstorms.
The main concern will be thunderstorms capable of damaging straight-line winds in excess of 60 mph, but hail is also possible. Timing looks to be late afternoon through the evening Monday. Expect scattered showers and thunderstorms. Everyone in the CSRA has the chance to see strong to severe storms.
