AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – Our persistent pattern is going to continue into the weekend featuring seasonal highs with scattered afternoon and evening storms. Next week looks hotter with above-average highs and slightly lower storm chances.
Sunday will be seasonal with highs near 90. If you have outdoor plans, keep the First Alert Weather app nearby so it can alert you if lightning or heavy rain is approaching your location. Widely scattered storms are possible in the afternoon and evening, but coverage should remain hit or miss and less widespread than Saturday.
Next week starts to get hotter with above-average highs. Highs will stay in the lower 90s Monday but increase to the low to middle 90s…..
