North Augusta, S.C. (WJBF) – Things are heating up in North Augusta over the city’s animal control shelter and its volunteers.
Two weeks ago, the city of North Augusta put a temporary moratorium on animal shelters volunteers taking any of the animals from the shelter. They also put in place a new policy, keeping pet owners from surrendering their pets. Shelter volunteers are concerned about what this means for the cities animal population.
