Here are a couple of art exhibitions to put on your radar.
Enamored Vision, an exhibition of new and recent work by acclaimed contemporary realist painter Luke Allsbrook, will be on view at CANDL Fine Art, 1128 Broad Street, from June 27 through Aug. 22, An artist reception will be held on Friday, July 25, and Allsbrook will deliver a gallery talk on Saturday, July 26, offering insight into his process and philosophy.
“Rooted in a deep reverence for light, landscape, and spiritual mystery, Allsbrook’s work invites viewers into moments of intimate attention and wonder. In his words, he paints not simply to record the world, but to uncover ‘facts transfigured by love’—those flickering, profound instants when observation becomes revelation. A riverbed illuminated by shifting light, a quiet trail at dusk: each painting becomes a contemplative gesture, asserting the enduring presence of beauty and meaning in the natural world,” according to a news release.
