(WJBF) – We are continuing our downtown Augusta visit by talking with some people who are doing some amazing things: our friends AC Daniel and Gabriel Passen from Operation Clean City.
First and foremost, let’s talk a little bit about what this is and what it’s all about.
“Operation Clean City is a volunteer initiative to take care of our community. Make sure that Augusta looks the way that we try to present it to the rest of the world. So Operation Clean City was started by my good friend Glen Ford. He’s a member of the military. He was stationed here. He started this back in 2014, and he just had a dream and a bucket and a grabber. And he came out downtown and started working on Broad Street, picking up trash that he found on the weekends after people were out.”…
