AU nursing students bring health care to farmworkers

TRENTON, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) — For Rebekah Tesch, nursing is more than a career — it’s a calling rooted in personal experience.

“I decided to become a nurse after I took care of my grandmother,” the Augusta University nursing student said. “She had a lot of health problems, especially diabetes. Being there for her made me realize that I enjoy providing care for people.”
