Santa visits kids at local therapy center in middle of July

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – At the Launch Therapy Center, kids were able to have a meet and greet with Santa and more at the Jingle in July event.

The partnership between Launch Therapy and SOAR Academy provides therapy to children and teens with developmental disabilities.

A recall effort against Burke County Sheriff Alfonzo Williams is moving forward.

“ABA therapy is a way of engaging kids in their social skills, helping them work on communication skills. We work with low-functioning and high-functioning kiddos. We also provide social skills groups during the summer as well sometimes.
