Starting next month, Richmond County schools will provide free meals to all students enrolled in the 2025-2026 school year.
Through the Community Eligibility Provision, schools with high SNAP or Medicaid enrollment can skip the meal applications. Data from state education officials shows that 45 out of 48 county schools hit the 40% mark for aid-receiving families.
