JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – Drivers who commute on State Route 171, between State Route 540 and US Route 221, should prepare for a detour at the end of the month.
According to the Georgia Department of Transportation, that section of the highway will be closed from July 28 until July 31.
