AIKEN, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) – An inmate has died at the Aiken County Detention Center, deputies said Wednesday.
As part of the normal procedure, the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office called in the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division and the Aiken County Coroner’s Office to investigate the death.
A vehicle struck and killed a pedestrian Wednesday morning in Allendale County.
