AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – Augusta residents will soon have a chance to recycle again – but it’ll cost them extra.
Even though many residents have been faithfully sorting their recyclables into blue-topped bins for years, the city hasn’t actually been recycling since the COVID pandemic.
There will be long-term closures on Broad Street, plus just when you thought the I-20 bridge work was done, lane closures are back.
If residential customers want to recycle, they’ll have to pay extra through a program managed by Coastal Waste & Recycling…
