The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office has arrested 37-year-old Quanterius Marquette Nelson in connection with a hit-and-run crash that left a woman critically injured on May 28, 2025.
The crash occurred at the intersection of Wheeler Road and Frontage Road and resulted in 27-year-old Morgan Gray sustaining serious injuries. After an intensive investigation by the agency’s Traffic and Criminal Investigations Divisions, deputies obtained search warrants and collected evidence that led to felony and traffic charges against Nelson.
While investigators were actively searching for him, Nelson voluntarily turned himself in to a deputy without incident. He was transported to the Charles B. Webster Detention Center and is awaiting booking…
