Daily forecast | From First Alert Meteorologist Malik Bryant

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – Dangerous heat with high humidity will continue through at least midweek, so a FIRST ALERT remains in effect through Tuesday.

A HEAT ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT FOR EVERY CSRA COUNTY MONDAY. The heat gets worse Monday due to higher humdity levels. Highs will be around 101 with feels like temperatures around 112F.

Beyond Monday, the high pressure (aka Heat Dome) retreats to the west, allowing our temperatures to be a few degrees cooler with a better chance of storms each afternoon Tuesday through Friday.

Heat will be at dangerous levels Tuesday through Thursday with highs in the middle 90s and abnormally high humidity levels making it feel like 106 to 109 each day through Thursday.

A cool front moves in Friday that should deliver some needed rainfall and could end our currently 41 day streak of consecutive 90+ degree days next weekend…
