Mail truck catches fire in south Augusta’s Pepperidge neighborhood

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – The U.S. Postal Service is investigating after a mail truck caught fire in south Augusta.

The truck caught fire around 2:45 p.m. Monday in the 3600 block of Seelye Drive in the Pepperidge neighborhood off Peach Orchard Road just north of Tobacco Road.

Residents of Hephzibah, Evans and Blythe are the latest local players to win big money from the Georgia Lottery.

The mail carrier called the supervisor, who went to the scene, and the supervisor called fire crews…
