NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. (WJBF) – Parents and guardians of students at North Augusta High School received a message Thursday about a handgun that was found in a restroom.
Part of the message from Principal Casey Rogers on July 31 reads as follows:
“During a random check this morning of several classrooms in the English hallway, a teacher observed three students entering a restroom instead of reporting to the designated area for the sweep. The teacher immediately notified an assistant principal, who responded promptly. Upon entering the restroom, the assistant principal discovered an unloaded handgun in plain sight.“…
