RICHMOND COUNTY, Ga. – On Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at approximately 10:25 a.m., Richmond County Sheriff’s Office Road Patrol units responded to a report of a stolen vehicle at 1350 Walton Way.
Deputy Dakota Clark spotted the vehicle traveling on Wrightsboro Road and initiated a traffic stop after requesting backup. The driver refused to stop, leading deputies on a pursuit through Richmond County into Columbia County along Washington Road.
The chase ended at the Raceway at Stevens Creek and Washington Road, where the suspect, identified as 44-year-old Amber Nelson, attempted to flee on foot but was quickly apprehended without incident…
