Effective Aug. 1, 2025, the dental hygiene program transitioned to the Dental College of Georgia, bringing 11 instructors, a staff member, and 59 students.
“Consolidating the dental hygiene department under the Dental College has the potential to achieve more efficient use of academic, physical and financial resources,” said Nancy Young, DMD, dean of DCG, according to Jagwire.
