AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – An Augusta man has been sentenced to federal prison for stealing mail using U.S. Postal Service master keys.
Earl Demetrius Overton, 32, of Augusta, was sentenced to 84 months in prison after pleading guilty to bank fraud, aggravated identity theft and possession of a firearm, according to a press release.
U.S. District Court Judge J. Randall Hall also ordered Overton to pay a $2,000 fine, $300 in special assessments and to serve three years of supervised release upon completion of his prison term. There is no parole in the federal system…
