AUGUSTA, Ga. – Country Eggs LLC has issued a recall of its large brown cage-free Sunshine Yolk eggs after 95 people from 14 states have gotten sick from the same strain of salmonella.
The recall was issued on Wednesday. The eggs were distributed in California and Nevada and have sell-by dates ranging from July 1 to Sept. 18.
More companies are recalling tens of thousands of packages of imported shrimp sold at Walmart, Kroger and other U.S. stores because they may contain radioactive contamination, according to federal notices.
