AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – Parents of students at Lucy Craft Laney Comprehensive High School received a letter notifying them that a gun that was located Tuesday during the “regular morning check-in routine.”
According to a letter on Sept. 2, the weapons detection system metal detectors notified officials that a student “may be in possession of a weapon.”
