In July, a women’s DIY group formed in July in Aiken and Edgefield counties. Now that the group is taking off, they are seeking more members.
The idea originated when women connected on a neighborhood app to share interests in DIY projects and support to tackle home repairs together. The group’s goal is to build confidence, share skills, and make home repair accessible for women who may not be able to afford contractors.
