AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – The Paceline Palooza event was held on Friday, Sept. 12 to help raise money for cancer research at the Georgia Cancer Center.
“On some level, cancer affects everyone,” said Jennifer Tucker, associate dean. “And I think either in their own family or in someone they know or love or care about. And I think it’s important to do things like this to remind people that, yes, this is a fun event. But at the root of it all, we’re here to raise money to help people survive their cancers and increase cancer research and make outcomes better.”
