Your Monday Evening Update:

A coastal low-pressure system is currently bringing rainfall to the Outer Banks and is expected to bring moisture into our area aiding in rain chances. There is a 10% chance for rain on Tuesday mostly affecting our western counties around 6pm tomorrow. Temperatures for the start of the work week are forecasted to remain in the mid to upper 80s.

We’ve entered into this pattern where the workweek is a bit cooler and the weekends are a bit warmer! Very enjoyable weather for those trying to savor the last little bit of summer. We officially start fall in one week. Later this week we’re going to see a warmup with temperatures reaching 91 this Friday.
