AIKEN S.C. (WJBF) – The Western Carolina State Fair is asking the community to nominate deserving families for a special VIP Experience at the Western Carolina State Fair, which runs Oct. 10th -19th.
The ‘Fairly Famous’ program celebrates local families who have made a difference or have overcome life’s challenges with strength and positivity.
Selected families will receive:
- Gate Admission for the whole family
- Unlimited Ride Bands
- Food Vouchers (amount to be announced)
- Game Tokens (amount to be announced)
To qualify, nominated families must:
- Live in the local area
- Be available to attend the fair on Wednesday, October 15, 2025
- Have either overcome significant hardship or made a positive impact in their community
Who can nominate:
- Anyone age 18 or older may submit a nomination
- You do not need to be affiliated with the nominated family
- Self-nominations are not accepted
