(WJBF) – A shooting suspect out of Jenkins County is in custody after a chase across county lines into Burke County, Monday afternoon.
Around 4 p.m., Georgia State Troopers spotted a vehicle matching the description of one driven by a male shooting suspect in Jenkins County, traveling on US 25.
The vehicle began to flee on Winthrope Avenue after Troopers attempted a traffic stop. A PIT maneuver was attempted to end the chase, causing the vehicle to stop at an intersection.
