NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) – Opioid recovery resources could soon expand in North Augusta as city leaders weigh funding for a new peer support specialist dedicated to helping residents battling substance use.
At Monday night’s city council meeting, members are considering approval of funding that would hire a city-focused peer support specialist beginning in 2026.
