Powderhouse Road connector aims to reduce congestion by 18%

AIKEN, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) – A major infrastructure project designed to ease traffic congestion on Whiskey Road is making progress, with city officials saying the connector could provide relief as soon as next year.

The Powderhouse Road Connector Project will divert traffic from East Pine Log Road, particularly during rush hour and when nearby schools dismiss students.
