RICHMOND COUNTY, Ga. (WJBF) – Richmond County investigators are searching for a suspect after a traffic stop turned violent.
Deputies say they pulled a person over on the 5700 block of Deans Bridge Road at Magnolia, south of Church Street, when the man exited the vehicle, dropped a gun, picked it up, and fled into the woods.
Three gunshots were heard, and later found to be from a nearby homeowner who reportedly saw the suspect flee…
